Construction is on in full swing at Qatar’s Lusail Stadium and progressing rapidly ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2022, the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC).
The venue, which will host final game of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, will accommodate 80,000 spectators, the work of which has crossed 75 per cent.
west stand, which contains the VVIP, VIP and media tribunes, among other elements, is visibly rising up from the ground to reach an imposing elevation of more than 70 metres, reports The Peninsula.
Tamim El Abed, the project manager of Lusail Stadium, explained that the ongoing works started with work on-site at the end of 2016.
He added that every day the site is changing, building upon the excitement within the team on-site and among the many visitors who come in the venue every month.
