Qatar Airways and Qatar Duty Free launches the first-historically speaking Qatar Airways Travel Boutique on today at the airline’s home and hub, Hamad International Airport (HIA), marking the airline’s first-ever brand shop.
Complete with burgundy lighting, bended walls, a Business Class desk and an A380 First Class seat to experience, the shop is uncommonly intended to empower customers to feel just as they have ventured on board a Qatar Airways aircraft.
The fabulous uncover of the stand-out boutique took place at a exclusive occasion at HIA, directed by Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, Akbar Al Baker. The opening ceremony was attended by many VIP guests, including the General Manager of Al Sadd Sports Club, representatives of the media;Turki Al-Ali; as well as professional football players from the legendary German football club FC Bayern München Kingsley Coman, Niklas Süle, Mats Hummels, and football star Gabriel Arenas from the Qatar football club Al Sadd Sports Club.
During the opening ceremony Al Baker stated: "Qatar Airways is pleased to launch our first-historically speaking boutique to draw in customers remarkably by empowering them to appreciate the Qatar Airways enc experience the ground. Qatar Duty Free was awarded 'Airport Retailer of the Year' at the 2018 DFNI Global Awards. In April, when Qatar Airways won ‘Best In-Flight Duty Free Program’ for the Middle East and Africa, the leading airport retailer was recognised at the PAX International Readership Awards and was acknowledged as an industry leader for its outstanding in-flight duty free service, which is operated by Qatar Duty Free.

Later this year, Qatar Duty Free, alongside Qatar Airways and Hamad International Airport, will have the world's most influential airport commercial revenues conference, The Trinity Forum. Which is organised by The Moodie Davitt Report, ACI World and ACI Asia-Pacific, It will take place in Doha from 30-31 October 2019.
