Less than three days after the death of his elder brother in Doha following a heart attack, an Indian expatriate died of cardiac arrest while he was making arrangements to send the body of the former to his home country Monday.
According to family sources, Irshad Abdulla (50), hailing from Chavakkad in Thrissur district of Kerala, died in Doha last Friday (July 6) whereas his brother Risaludheen Abdulla died on way to hospital after he fell down and became unconscious on Monday.
They said Risaludeen had almost completed the formalities of sending his brother's body home following his visit to the Passport Department of the Hamad International Airport for the final documentation.
Now, the body of Risaludeen will also be sent back to India after completing the necessary formalities.
Risaludeen, an employee at Qatar Petroleum, is survived by his wife and two children who live in Kerala.
Irshad, a long time expat in Qatar, died during a visit to his relative's family in Al Khor.
