Aspire International Kite Fest begins

The third version of Aspire International Kite Festival opened yesterday at Aspire Park with the cooperation of expert kite flyers from 18 nations. 

In the interim, Ooredoo reported yesterday that it is the Official Sponsor of Aspire International Kite Festival. 

A huge number of individuals including ladies and kids assembled at the setting evening to appreciate the celebration. More than 40,000 guests and 500 understudies are relied upon to visit the four-day celebration. 

 

To draw in the guests different destinations were set at the setting, including a climate vault for the workshops and understudy exercises, wind garden with uniquely designed enrichments, zones for the motorcade and amusement, nourishment trucks and kite shop. 

"First time lit kites depicting contemporary plans from the East and the West are taking an interest the celebration," Tahani Al Suwaidi an individual from Aspire third International Kite Festival Organizing Committee revealed to The Peninsula. She said that the celebration is being sorted out in two moves in morning for school understudies and night for overall population. 

The Aspire Zone Foundation got yesterday 200 understudies from government and tuition based schools to the third version of celebration where they went to workshops on kite making. 

The schools that partook amid the principal day of the celebration, which kept running from 9am to 12pm, were: Al Huda, Nusseibeh, and Al Israa Primary Independent Schools for Girls, Vision and GEMS universal schools. 

For the third successive year, the Secretary of the International ASEAN Kite Council, Gadis Widiyati, conveyed the workshops and the instructional meetings. These intend to improve the enthusiasm of kite making and kite flying among the residents of Qatar by utilizing the aptitude and persuasive accounts of kiting specialists from the district and abroad. 

The arranging council of the celebration composed a wide exhibit of rivalries with four honor classes for understudies.
