Qatari athlete Ashraf Elseify has secured the second gold for Qatar in the Mens Hammer throw at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta.
In his second throw itself Elseify threw 75.61m to take the lead and in his fifth attempt he threw the hammer to a distance of 76.88m to cement his gold.
Tajikistan competitor Dilshod Nazarov won silver with a throw of 74.16m and Sukhrob Khodjaev of Uzbekistan claimed bronze with a seasonal best throw of 74.06m.
Abdalelah Haroun had won Qatar's first gold of Asian Games 2018 in 400 metere race.
Now, Qatar’s medal tally now stands at two golds, two silvers and one bronze – total of five medals.
Fares Elbakh had won the other silver in weightlifting and shooter Hamad Ali Al Marri won the bronze.
