Process For Qatar Visa On Arrival

The following guidelines and tips are very useful in visiting Qatar for business, academic, or recreational purposes -

  • Always keep your original and photocopies of various travel, professional and personal identity documents ready at hand.
  • Documents include passport, social security number, national identity card, email, mobile, return tickets, business/company details, other travel permits or transit visas, etc.,
  • Contact and check with the Qatari embassy using the online or offline modes.
  • The visa waiver rules vary for different nationalities, single trips, multiple trips, single entry, and multiple entry points.
  • Interior ministry authorities of Qatar reserve the right to deny entry into the country for the visitor and/or partners.
  • Visa exemption policy is now in place for 80 countries, and nationals of these countries can arrive in Qatar without any prior visa arrangements.

Qatar Visa On Arrival Countries List:

The following 33 countries are exempt from prior visa arrangements and the nationals can obtain a visa waiver after arriving in Qatar. The waiver is for 180 days from the issue date and these visitors can spend 90 days using a single trip or they can also visit Qatar on multiple trips. Austria, Bahamas, , Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Seychelles, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey . During Qatar trip, you should always remember to check your Qatar visa status and validity to avoid any inconvenience. The nationals of following countries are eligible for 30-day waivers and they can stay in Qatar for 30 days in a single trip or multiple trips.
