A spectacular fireworks show themed on maritime traditions will illuminate the Katara skyline tonight as a major highlight of the eighth Katara Traditional Dhow Festival, which opened on Tuesday.
Guests at Katara can appreciate the firecrackers appear from 8pm to 8.20pm today around evening time and a similar time tomorrow.
“It is not a normal fireworks show. It is woven around a theme that tells the story of fishing, diving and fighting in the sea,” said Jihad Al Jaida, a member of the organising committee.
