The Department of Meteorology warned Friday of strong wind at places in the afternoon. Weather inshore until 6pm on Friday will be misty at places by early morning, becoming hot during the daytime with slightly dusty at times at night. Offshore, it will be misty at first, becoming slightly dusty later, the report added.
Twist inshore will be northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 08 to 18 hitch, achieving 25 ties at places by evening, reductions to under 08 tie by night. Seaward, it will be for the most part northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 05 to 15 tie achieving 20 tie at western regions daytime.
Perceivability will be 04 to 08 or 2 kilometer or less at places on occasion.
Ocean state inshore will be 1 to 2 feet. Seaward will be 1 to 3 feet at western zones daytime.
