Public transport company of Qatar Mowasalat, will operate additional bus services on select routes during the Eid Al Adha holidays, According to senior official of Mowasalat.
“Mowasalat will continue the practice of augmenting the bus services during Eid Al Adha as in previous years,” Assad A Khalil, Public Relations and Media Executive at Corporate Communication Department of Mowasalat, was quoted as saying by Qatar Tribune.
Mowasalat has an armada of in excess of 4,000 cabs under Karwa and its establishments, around 80 limousines, 3,800 buses with 270 handling on 52 routes, 2,800 school transports ferrying around 65,000 students and 700 buses to serve the state amid every major occasion.
"Mowasalat is committed to providing transportation facilities to the public on special occasions. So, the additional services on select routes will help people in remote areas to attend Eid celebrations in Doha and visit their families and friends living in different places," a Mowasalat official said, reported Qatar Tribune.
