MDPS data shows that the number of people in Qatar at the end of July was 2,450,285, which is about 5.3% lower than those in June (2,580,734), According Gulf Times.
The previous lowest population in the past one year was at the end of August 2017, when the nation had some 2,446,328 people.
The fall in numbers is because of an expansive number of occupants having set out to their nations of origin amid summer get-aways.
