The doors to the Qatar @roadto2022 Exhibition, which is being held at the historic GUM department store in Moscow, is now finally open for visitors, as announced by the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC).
The free-to-attend exhibition offers visitors a trip through football history, with memorabilia including match-worn shirts from legends such as Pelé, Diego Maradona and Xavier Hernández, along with mascots and official balls from past tournaments, as announced by Gulf Times.
The exhibition also showcases Qatar’s plans for the next edition of the tournament in 2022 while celebrating the country’s football history, including the comprehensive FIFA World Cup tickets collection of Qatari collector Mohamed Abdulatif, according to a report on sc.qa.
Lana Kayed, the SC’s head of Art & Culture, who has organised the exhibition, said that the objective of the exhibition is to engage with football fans in Russia and introduce them to Qatar’s preparations for the World Cup.
