Some people say Qatar has too many shopping malls. Each year, more and more shopping malls continue to be built around the country, and for good reason.
The thing is, why should these big businesses stop when malls are garnering so much success in Qatar? In fact, these malls are always filled with people especially during the hotter months.
New Malls in Qatar to be Fully Operational by 2019
When the weather is extremely hot like what happens in Qatar ever so often, the mall serves as a wonderful refuge to beat the heat. The most recently opened malls are the Doha Festival City and Mall of Qatar.
These two new malls are the 15th and 17th shopping centers in the country, respectively. Now, news reports are saying there will be six new malls by 2019!
1. Tawar Mall
This new mall will be sited in Duhail, fronting the Dahl Al Hammam Park. Among its many features, the Tawar Mall will be the first to have a trampoline warehouse, called Bounce.
2. Katara Plaza
The Katara Plaza will be situated in Katara Cultural Village. In this outdoor mall, you will find the first Galeries Lafayette of the country. It will also have the very first Evian spa.
3. North Gate Mall
The North Gate Mall will be situated on Al Shamal Road. This mall is three stories tall and will showcase luxurious fashion shops, cafes, restaurants, and more.
